Our network brings together the research and teaching staff of the University of Social work and Health Lausanne (HETSL) who work on issues related to old age, the end of life, and the professional practices and public policies associated with them.
It aims not only to make available and share the expertise produced within the HETSL, but also to establish new knowledge about emerging issues. Finally, it is intended to respond to the challenges the professionals in these fields of social intervention face.
Its activity takes the form of organising conferences and study days, as well as research projects and providing services for institutions active in the AVIF fields. It also involves various specific courses given in the HES-SO bachelor and master modules, and the setting up of continued education courses specific to the issues of age, ageing and the end of life.
Its members collaborate closely with active researchers within the broader HES-SO but also in various national and international networks.
