For MAD Pride 2023, the equipment developed for the "Des plans pour ce soir" prototype is being used to make the event route accessible to people on the autism spectrum. This technology for describing and self-assessing sound environments supports planning and access to activities outside the home for people with atypical cognitive and/or sensory profiles. 

This project is being carried out in partnership with Autisme Vaud, the regional section of Autisme Suisse Romande, and MAD Pride 2023.

Checkout methods in shops are evolving: rapid checkout, credit cards, scanners and even phone applications. Everyone has their own preferences and habits when it comes to these different options. What are the preferences of people with intellectual disabilities? How do they explain them? What facilitators and obstacles do they identify?

Under the supervision of Aline Veyre, Laetitia Lude and Marc Schmied examined this issue in their Bachelor's thesis.

Following analysis of the results, an interactive digital guide in Facile A Lire et à Comprendre (FALC) language was produced to help people learn how to do their shopping using each checkout and payment method.

In this era of inclusive schooling, many teachers find themselves welcoming children with autism into their classrooms. They must therefore be creative in order to meet the specific needs of these students. These strategies have been compiled by Mireille Le Berre, a teacher who is particularly sensitive to this issue.
